Galen and his adopted brother Jonathan enter an old bunker and fall through the Void, to arrive in the world of Galen's birth. There they meet Al-Garran, Galen's grandfather. AlGarran has been waiting for Galen's return since he and his now-dead mother left the world of his birth in order to survive an attack by Life Steeler, servant of the Lord of Despair. Galen learns that this world is a world of Life Magic and that his mother and father were High Life Givers. His grandfather, Al-Garran, is currently the most powerful magic user in this world. Galen also learns that he has an innate magic that steadily grows. As he does, he learns to manipulate the magic to his will. He also learns how to use the Void. As Galen, Jonathan and Al-Garran travel across this world, they meet fascinating allies and encounter terrifying enemies. They cross wondrous lands and explore large cities, small towns and strange villages with even stranger inhabitants, like the Warkin. As Galen travels towards his goal, the City of Life Gate and The One Tower, he learns about his true nature and the purpose of the Palm Key. The Palm Key - Returning Home ends with many unanswered questions. It is only the beginning of a more amazing journey across wondrous and magical lands.
